Breaking Down Our $35,000 Goal
This first-year raise launches DSG’s mobile studio, funds pilot classes, covers insurance and space rentals, and ensures programming stays accessible through a sliding-scale model.
What This Unlocks
- A fully operational Mobile Studio (bike + recording kit) ready for parks, schools, and community sites
- 8–12 recording sessions for emerging artists and community members (sliding-scale + scholarship options)
- 2 pilot education cohorts (8-module programs) serving youth, adult learners, beginners, and neurodivergent participants
- 4–6 free or pay-what-you-can workshops to build community access and reduce barriers to entry
- 2 small community showcases or listening events that celebrate participants and build local momentum
- School-year readiness for outreach starting in the fall (curriculum materials + mobile studio scheduling)
- Program accessibility built in through scholarships, subsidized seats, and no one turned away for inability to pay
- Safe, sustainable operations with insurance coverage, storage/security for the mobile unit, and compliant admin systems
